Trauma Neurosurgery NP – 2 Weeks/Month, Oakland, CA

Job description

Schedule:
2 full weeks/month required
4x10 schedule every other week

Assignment Details:
Trauma Neurosurgery service
Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and OR support
Inpatient census: 8–15 patients/day
Outpatient census: ~20 patients/day (shared with attending)
Neuro-trauma patient population
Drain removal required
Support from APPs, attendings, and nursing staff
EMR: Epic

Requirements:
NP or PA
CA license required for NPs (PA licensing available)
BLS + ACLS required
1–2 years neurosurgery experience required
Level I trauma experience required
Neuro-trauma experience required
Must have both inpatient and outpatient experience
RNFA preferred for NPs interested in first assisting
