We are seeking a Neurosurgery NP/PA for an ongoing assignment in Oakland, California.

Start Date: September 2026
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM); every other week
Practice Setting: Hospital
Assignment Details:
• Mix of inpatient, outpatient clinic, and OR support
• High volume of neuro-trauma cases
• Inpatient census: 8–15 patients per day
• Outpatient clinic: ~20 patients per day (shared with attending)
• APPs rotate coverage including weekend solo coverage (with attending/RN support)
• Responsibilities include drain removal and general bedside care
• First assist preferred but not required
License: Active California License Required (open to licensing for PAs)
Requirements:
• NP or PA required
• Minimum 1–2 years of neurosurgery experience
• Must have level 1 trauma experience
• Must have both inpatient and outpatient experience
• Neuro-trauma experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
