Neurosurgery NP/PA – New Haven, CT:
📅 Start: 2/1/27 | 6-month contract
🌙 3x12s | Nights Only
📆 Days somewhat flexible | Possible weekends
🏥 Inpatient Neurosurgery | Level I Trauma Center
👥 8–12 patients/shift
💻 Epic
🤝 Chief resident & attending available for support
🚫 No OR coverage required

Scope:
• Inpatient Neurosurgery/Neurology/Stroke coverage
• Pre- & post-operative rounding and management
• Inpatient neurologic & neurosurgical consults
• Acute stroke workflows and inpatient stroke management
• Wound assessments, dressing changes & staple/suture removal
• Drain management support
• Lumbar punctures preferred, not required
• Additional bedside procedures based on privileges

Requirements:
✅ NP or PA with Neurosurgery experience
✅ 2+ years of recent experience preferred
✅ Board Certification required
✅ BLS & ACLS required
✅ DEA required
🪪 CT license required; willing to license compact-eligible providers
⭐ Seeking an experienced APP who can hit the ground running
🎓 Academic/teaching hospital setting
