Facility in Rockford, IL seeking Neurosurgery APP locums coverage Rates: $180/hr Opportunity Highlights Consistent Schedule: Work 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. No call is required for this position. Collaborative Team: Work alongside two neurosurgeons and another APP. You will not work solo. Diverse Responsibilities: This role primarily focuses on inpatient coverage with some outpatient responsibilities. You'll help manage a shared inpatient census of 20-25 adult patients. EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting. Privileging: Estimated 90 days for full privileges. Responsibilities Round on neurosurgery inpatients. Perform patient assessments and documentation. Assist with care coordination and discharge planning. Provide support in the clinic as needed. Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons and the clinical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Provider Requirements Credential: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience. Licensure: An active Illinois State License is required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required. Start Date The position is a turnover vacancy and is available to start soon.
