Neurosurgery NP/PA – Boston, MA

Highlights:
• Day shifts only with no nights, no call, and no holiday coverage
• Academic hospital environment with strong resident support
• Opportunity to focus on inpatient neurosurgical patient care without OR responsibilities

Schedule:
• 3 shifts per week
• 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Ongoing coverage need

Practice Details:
• Inpatient Neurosurgery service
• Adult patient population
• Daily rounding with residents and care team
• Responsibilities include patient evaluations, order management, discharge planning, and ongoing inpatient care
• No operating room responsibilities
• Preferred experience removing drains (Hemovac and JP drains)
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Minimum 1 year of Neurosurgery experience required
• Active Massachusetts license required
• Board Certified required
• Must be comfortable working independently within an inpatient neurosurgical setting

Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
