Neurosurgery PA Needed in California

Job description

Neurosurgery PA Needed in CA:
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months with option for extension
Schedule: 5x8/hour shifts, every week, full time.
Work details:
• Support staff: outpatient: surgery scheduler, MA, scribe. Inpatient work is more independent, working with surgeon directly
• Patients per day: growing service line, in clinic usually 15-20 patients/day. 5-7 surgery/weeks
• Patient population/age: all adult
• Department description: Department sees both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery patients including, pre, intra, and post op care
• Special procedures: remove drains, basic wound dressing, suture/staple removal
• Inpatient/outpatient – hybrid; 70% outpatient, 30% inpatient

CA License Required (We can help license you)
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
