Neurosurgery APP coverage needed - Complex Spine

Job description

Shift Details: 3x12 & 2 8’s/mo
Schedule: schedule will be 3x12 during the week and then providers will need to work bi-weekly Saturday shifts for 8 hours (so 3x12 weekly and an 8 hour shift every other week)

Work Details:
• Support staff:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: every week, 3x12 + 8
• Patients per day: between 30-40 pts/day, split up between 3 APPs and 1-2 residents
• Patient population/age: adult
• Department description: Inpatient meaning no assisting in OR, no new patient consults, and no call. Just discharging post-op patients and lots of care coordination and discharge planning.
• EMR: Epic

• Special procedures:
• Skills required: Must have experience managing pre/post op spinal surgery patients

• 3x12s
• Inpatient only
• 6 months with the option to extend
