This facility is a major 600+ bed medical center that serves as both a Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Tampa Bay community and features advanced medical technology and specialized care units.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (PA) - Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

Job Details:
• Work with a well-established, high volume neurosurgery practice alongside 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers
• Serve adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient setting with OR first assist responsibilities
• Focus on inpatient rounding and surgical assistance with no outpatient responsibilities
• Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week with minimum two weeks per month commitment
• Call schedule rotated among PAs with 1:4/5 weekend call and 1:4/5 night call responsibility
• Must maintain active Florida license with current board certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery OR required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe 30-60 days
• Patient encounters vary per shift
• Close to Tampa International Airport for convenient travel

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
