This facility provides inpatient neurosurgical services and maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to support on-site coverage across day and night shifts. The institution holds a Level I designation and is staffed with four APPs to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Clinical operations are conducted on-site to ensure continuity of neurosurgical care for patients across all age groups.

Michigan's Thumb Coast offers approximately 140 miles of shoreline along Lake Huron, providing clinicians on assignment with access to walking, biking, paddling, and golfing. The area features vineyards, boutique shops, and waterfront dining options suited to varied interests. Clinicians will find a range of outdoor and leisure activities available throughout the region during time away from clinical responsibilities.

About the clinician's workday

The neurosurgery clinician will provide inpatient coverage across day shifts (6:15 AM - 5:45 PM) and night shifts (5:45 PM - 6:15 AM) on an on-site basis. Responsibilities include managing neurosurgical inpatient cases across all age groups. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Four APPs are available on staff to support clinical operations throughout all assigned coverage periods.
