Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Alaska. This role offers a consistent 1 week per month schedule with a mix of clinic, OR, and call responsibilities.

Position Overview:
Start Date: June 2026
Schedule: 1 week per month (7 consecutive days)
Coverage includes clinic, OR, and call

Clinical Responsibilities:
Perform neurosurgical procedures and manage clinic patients
Provide call coverage with consults and urgent cases
Work alongside APP and support staff

Work Details:
Mix of clinic, OR, and call
EMR: Cerner
Adult and pediatric patient population

Requirements:
Board Certified Neurosurgery (ABNS/ABMS)
Willing to obtain AK license
DEA required
