Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a dynamic role combining clinic, OR, and call coverage within a collaborative, well-supported trauma center environment.

Practice Details
Team Structure:
2 Neurosurgeons (0.75 FTE each)
2 APPs supporting elective and inpatient care
Support Staff: 1 nurse (plus 1 vacancy), 2 schedulers, 2 CMAs
Patient Population: All ages (adult & pediatric)
Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center

Clinical Volume
~10 patients per clinic day
Up to 3 OR cases per day
2–3 urgent OR cases per week
On-call consults: ~2–3 per night

Requirements
Board Certified Neurosurgeon (ABNS/ABMS)
Active state license (AK license or willingness to obtain)
Full vaccination required (including COVID)
