Privileging Timeframe: 8 weeks

Licensing: AK has a temporary license for Locums, approx. 6-8 weeks

Support Staff: one nurse/one nurse vacancy/2 schedulers/2 CMAs

Department Description
Practice with 2 0.75 FTE Neurosurgeons and 2.0 FTE APPs to handle elective cases and 24/7 call for a level II trauma center for adults and pediatrics.

Patient Volume: Roughly 10 patient per clinic day, up to 3 OR cases for OR days. Urgent OR cases ~2-3 per week. Consults while on-call: ~2-3/night.

Patient Population/Age: All ages

Technology in Use:
- Cerner
- Sectra
- Medtronic stealth station

Certifications Required: ABNS/ABMS

Vaccination: Full vaccination required (including COVID)
