Job description

Opportunity Details: Neurosurgery (Alaska)

Start: Ongoing (8-week privileging; temp license available in 6–8 weeks)
Setting: Level II Trauma Center
24/7 call coverage with elective case support

Work Details:

Clinic: ~10 patients per day
OR: up to 3 cases per day
Urgent OR cases: ~2–3 per week
Call: ~2–3 consults per night
Patient population: all ages (adult + pediatric)
EMR: Cerner
Technology: Sectra, Medtronic Stealth Station

Support Staff:

2 Neurosurgeons (0.75 FTE each)
2 APPs
Nursing and clinic support staff

Requirements:

Board Certified (ABNS/ABMS)
Full vaccination required (including COVID)
Experience with both adult and pediatric neurosurgery

Credentialing & Licensing:

Privileging: ~8 weeks
Alaska temporary license available (6–8 weeks)
