Physician - Neurological Surgery

Job Details:

• Join a well-established regional neurosurgery group of 14 specialists covering Southwest Missouri and Northern Arkansas across four large tertiary care centers
• Group includes cranial/skull base, spine deformity, vascular/endovascular, epilepsy, radiosurgery, functional, and pediatric specialists
• Seeking at least one neurosurgeon with subspecialty interest in endovascular neurosurgery
• Private practice positions with a significant general neurosurgery component
• Perform general neurosurgery including adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma cases
• Cerebrovascular procedures including open and endovascular approaches, carotid or vertebral artery surgery, and aneurysm clipping
• Tumor resection including neuroendocrine surgery
• Stereotactic radiosurgery including functional and seizure applications
• VP shunt placement and skull base surgery
• Spinal surgery with and without instrumentation at cervical, thoracic, and lumbar levels
• Peripheral nerve surgery and pain procedures
• Endovascular procedures and placement of ICP monitors
• Application of external traction, ventilator management, and central line placement
• Board certification required with credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days
