Neurointerventional Neurosurgery Opportunity – CA
Coverage: 24-hour call
Start: 1/26/2026
Schedule: Providers needed for 1–2 week blocks per month (24-hour call, 8:00–8:00 daily)

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Perform a full range of diagnostic & therapeutic neuroendovascular procedures, including:
– Mechanical thrombectomy
– Aneurysm coiling & flow diversion
– AVM/AVF embolization
– Dural fistula treatment
– Carotid & intracranial stenting
– Tumor & epistaxis embolization
– MMA embolization
• Interpret neurovascular imaging (DSA, CTA, MRA) and guide clinical decisions
• Manage pre- and post-procedure neurovascular patients
• Participate in a 24/7 stroke call schedule with rapid response requirements
• Provide inpatient & outpatient consultations alongside neurology, neurosurgery, and neurocritical care
• Support protocols and quality metrics for Comprehensive Stroke Center certification

Qualifications:
• Strong technical competence across all neuroendovascular procedures
• Prior experience in a Comprehensive Stroke Center or high-volume neurointerventional practice
• Proficiency with advanced devices (flow diverters, intrasaccular devices, liquid embolics)

Work Environment & Expectations:
• Active participation in a rotating 24/7 neurointerventional call schedule
• Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Stroke Center with neurocritical care & neurosurgical support
• Collaboration with APPs, residents, and fellows (if academic setting)
• Contribution to hospital initiatives involving stroke care pathways and accreditation
