Locums Neurosurgery Physician Needed in Eureka, CA

Job description

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Provider will be expected to be in clinic and on call from 830am-5pm on weekdays. They will then be on night call from 5pm-8:30am the next day. Weekends will be 24hr call coverage.
Will see complex spine cases
No airway certifications required

Work Details:
• Patients per shift: 5
• Patient population/age: Adult
• Trauma Level: 3
• EMR: Epic
• Skills required: General Neurosurgery (Adult and Trauma), Spinal surgery with instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar), Spinal surgery w/o instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar), Placement of ICP monitors

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• License required: Active CA License
• Minimum experience required: 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty
• Active CA DEA
• Certifications required: FLURO certification is required (they can have the temp FLURO)
• We will need providers to submit during the privileging process 100 cases within the past 24 months specific to the privileges being requested.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
