Hi!

I’m reaching out about a Neurosurgery locum opportunity in Eureka, CA. This is a block-style assignment combining clinic coverage with call responsibilities.

Schedule:
• Weekday clinic: 8:30a–5p
• Night call: 5p–8:30a
• Weekend: 24-hour call
• Block coverage (late April/early May and June; ongoing dates available)
• Start: April 2026
• Ongoing assignment

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Adult neurosurgery
• ~5 patients per day
• Mix of clinic, inpatient, and call coverage
• Procedures include spinal surgery (with/without instrumentation), ICP monitoring, and trauma cases
• EMR: Epic
• Support staff available

Requirements:
• Board Certified Neurosurgeon
• Active CA license (licensing not available)
• DEA required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• Minimum 2 years recent hospital-based experience

Credentialing:
• Approximately 60–90 days
