Neurosurgery Locums Opportunity – California

Start Date: 4/30/2026 (flexible to 5/1 start)
Ongoing Coverage Needed

Schedule:
• Weekdays: 8:30am – 5:00pm clinic + day call (included in hourly rate)
• Night call: 5:00pm – 8:30am (separate call rate)
• Weekends: 24-hour call coverage

Upcoming Dates:
• April 30 (8:30am) – May 5 (8:30am)
• June 1 (8:30am) – June 8 (8:30am)
• Additional dates to follow

Work Details:
• Inpatient and outpatient setting
• Support staff provided
• ~5 patients per shift
• Adult population
• Trauma Level 3 facility
• EMR: Epic
• Required skills include general neurosurgery, trauma, spinal surgery (with and without instrumentation), and ICP monitor placement

Requirements:
• Board Certified required
• Active California license required
• DEA required
• Minimum 2 years of current hospital-based clinical experience
• Active Fluoroscopy certification required

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
