Opportunity Details: Neurological Surgery (California)

Start: July 13, 2026
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (6a–6a)
Open Dates:
July 13 (AM) – July 20 (AM)
August 3 (AM) – August 10 (AM)
Additional dates expected later in the year

Work Details:

Inpatient setting
Adult patient population
Trauma Level 3
2–15 patients per shift
Support: 2 PA/NPs
EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope:

General Neurosurgery (adult & trauma)
Tumors, VP shunts
Spinal surgery (cervical, thoracic, lumbar; with/without instrumentation)
ICP monitor placement, external traction
Fluoroscopy required

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3–5 years)
Active California license required
CA DEA required
Active or temporary fluoroscopy certification required

Credentialing:

Approx. 90 days
