Practice Setting
Inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical coverage
Trauma Level III/IV hospital
EMR: Epic
Combined clinic + call structure
Approx. 5 patients per shift

Schedule
Start date: November 1, 2026 (ongoing coverage)
Block coverage periods:
Nov 21 – Dec 8
Dec 27 – Jan 5
Weekday structure: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM clinic/onsite coverage
Night call: 5:00 PM – 8:30 AM (weeknight beeper call)
Weekend call: 24-hour beeper coverage
Coverage includes both clinic responsibilities and call duties
May not require full 5 clinic days each week, but availability should allow it

Responsibilities
Provide neurosurgical inpatient and outpatient care
Manage daily consults and surgical follow-ups
Participate in weekday clinic coverage with concurrent call responsibility
Provide weekend and nighttime neurosurgical call coverage
Collaborate with hospital teams on acute neurosurgical cases

Requirements
Board Certified Neurosurgery (strong preference)
Truly Board Eligible within 3–5 years may be considered
Active California license or IMLC eligibility
Minimum 2 years experience preferred
DEA required
Fluoroscopy (FLURO) certification required or temporary acceptable
Must meet credentialing requirements
