Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Neurosurgeon for an ongoing locums opportunity in Santa Rosa, California. This position offers 24-hour beeper call coverage in an inpatient hospital setting.

Opportunity Highlights:

24-hour beeper call only

Call shifts from 7:30 AM–7:30 AM

Ongoing coverage opportunity

Approximately 2–15 patients per shift

Inpatient hospital setting

Level III trauma experience setting

Epic EMR

Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe

Travel and lodging provided

Clinical Scope:

Inpatient neurosurgery coverage

Neurosurgical consultations and emergency evaluations

Trauma-related neurosurgical care

On-call surgical intervention as needed

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (within 3–5 years of residency)

Active California medical license required

Active DEA required

Active or temporary California fluoroscopy certificate required

Comfortable providing 24-hour neurosurgical call coverage
