Facility:
This healthcare facility is a Level 1 trauma center serving as a major regional medical hub with over 100,000 annual emergency department visits. The facility features 12 operating rooms and maintains a robust neurosurgery program with 6 neurosurgeons in practice, utilizing Epic EMR system for comprehensive patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Neuro

Job Details:
• Weekend call coverage starting Friday 7am through Monday 7am
• Every weekend needed starting immediately
• Serve patients aged 17 and above in adult and trauma neurosurgery
• Perform complex procedures including tumor removal, brain bleed stoppage, and trauma repair
• Handle shunt insertion/revision, cranial burr holes, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Manage traumatic brain injuries, intracranial hemorrhages, and neurocritical conditions
• Perform spinal procedures including diskectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, and spine stabilization
• Conduct ventricular taps, ventriculoperitoneal shunt management, and ventriculostomy procedures
• Provide arterial/venous access placement and lumbar puncture services
• Interpret EEG results and manage ICP/CCP data
• Must have active Colorado license or willingness to obtain upon acceptance
• Board certification required with active ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications
• Must be able to perform spinal instrumentation procedures
• Fellowship training highly preferred
• COVID vaccination required with clean malpractice and background history

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
