**Neurosurgery Physician – Eureka, CA**

**Assignment Details**

* **Start Date:** April 30, 2026 *(May 1 start possible, April 30 preferred)*
* **Duration:** 13 weeks, ongoing potential
* **Coverage Type:** Scheduled clinical hours + call
* **Providers Needed:** 1–2

**Schedule**

* Weekdays: **8:30 AM – 5:00 PM** (clinic + daytime call included in hourly rate)
* Night Call: **5:00 PM – 8:30 AM** (separate night call rate)
* Weekends: **24-hour call coverage**
* **Coverage Dates:**

* April 30 (8:30 AM) – May 5 (8:30 AM) *(or May 1 start)*
* June 1 (8:30 AM) – June 8 (8:30 AM)
* Additional dates to follow
* *Note: Clinic coverage may not be required all 5 weekdays but is possible*

**Practice Setting**

* Inpatient & Outpatient
* Trauma Level III facility
* EMR: Epic

**Work Details**

* **Patient Volume:** ~5 per shift
* **Patient Population:** Adult
* **Support Staff:** Yes

**Required Skills**

* General Neurosurgery (Adult)
* Trauma care
* Spinal surgery (with and without instrumentation)
* Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures
* Placement of ICP monitors

**Requirements**

* Board Certified
* Active California license required
* DEA required
* Minimum **2 years of current hospital-based clinical experience**
* Active fluoroscopy certification required

**Credentialing Timeframe:** 60–90 days
