Locum Neurosurgery Opportunity – 24-Hour Beeper Call Coverage in Ohio

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Neurosurgeon for locum tenens coverage at a 326-bed hospital. This role is focused on 24-hour beeper call coverage, with responsibilities that include rounding, monitoring, and handling urgent neurosurgical needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide crucial coverage with a manageable daily census and support from a collaborative care team.

Assignment Details:

Start Dates:

October 18, 2025 (7:00 AM) – October 27, 2025 (7:00 AM)

December 21, 2025 (7:00 AM) – January 2, 2026 (7:00 AM)

Ongoing Need: 10 days/month on average

Schedule: 24-hour beeper call

Clinical & Facility Details:

Patients per Day: 10–12 (rounding and monitoring)

Support Staff:

Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM

Rounding RN and PA available for limited assistance (also cover clinic)

Patient Population: 100% Adult

EMR: Epic

Neurosurgery team provides beeper call coverage for adult inpatients requiring post-op monitoring, follow-ups, and acute neurosurgical care. The practice is well-supported with Epic EMR and experienced staff.
