Facility:
This well-established medical center is a Level 2 trauma facility offering comprehensive neurosurgical services to adult and geriatric patients. The facility features 10 operating rooms, utilizes Epic EMR, and provides strong support for locum providers with on-call and weekend coverage opportunities.

Job Details:

• Provide neurosurgical care to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital-based inpatient setting
• Level 2 trauma facility with 10 operating rooms and one surgeon currently in practice
• EMR system: Epic
• On-call and weekend coverage required
• Required cranial procedures include: Clot Removal, Aneurysm Repair, Tumor Removal, Brain Bleed Stoppage, Trauma Repair, Shunt Insertion or Revision, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Cranial Burr Holes, Intracranial Pressure Monitor Insertion, Intracranial Hemorrhage management, Movement Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury and Neurocritical Conditions, Ventricular Taps, Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt/Taps/Reprogramming, and Ventriculostomy
• Required spinal procedures include: Diskectomy, Laminectomy, Spinal Fusion, Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty, and Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction
• Active Ohio State License or active IMLC required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Board Certification required
• Flu Vaccine required at time of credentialing
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
• Availability must be specific to open dates: 9/24 - 10/5
