Neurosurgery / Neuroendovascular Locum Physician – South Carolina

Job description

A medical center in coastal South Carolina is seeking a dually trained Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular physician for locum coverage. This role focuses on stroke intervention procedures along with neurosurgical ED consult coverage for trauma cases. Coverage is needed as soon as possible and is ongoing based on scheduling needs.

Work Environment & Schedule
• Accepting all dates for Feb and March
• Stroke intervention procedures required
• Neurosurgery ED consults for trauma call
• Call volume averages 6–10 consults, highly dependent on acuity
• No midlevel support
• EMR: eClinicalWorks

Requirements
• Must be dually trained in Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular
• Active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Stroke intervention experience required
• Neurointerventional radiologists will not be considered

• Prime Coastal South Carolina Location
• High-Impact Clinical Work: Mix of stroke interventions and trauma ED consults, with variable but manageable call volume
• Dually Trained Role: Seeking physicians trained in both Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular — stroke intervention experience required.
