Neurosurgery/Neuroendovascular Physician Needed in Charleston, SC

Job description

Location: Charleston, SC
Start: June/July
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day shifts, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Coverage: Approx. 4 days per month (varies based on PTO, CME, and call support)

Requirements:

Dually trained in Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular (required)
Active South Carolina license required
Neurointerventional Radiology–only candidates will not be considered

Practice Setting:

~300+ bed acute care hospital
Level II Trauma Center with 24/7 ER
Teaching facility with residents
24/7 hospitalist and intensivist support
EMR: eClinicalWorks

Work Details:

Stroke interventions and neuroendovascular procedures
Neurosurgery coverage includes ED trauma consults (avg. 6–10 per day; volume varies by acuity)
Moderate-to-high consult volume
No midlevel support

Additional Information:

Coverage for PTO, CME, and call support
Established program with permanent provider in place since 2022
