Job description

Start: November 20, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (ongoing)
Coverage: Neurosurgery and neuroendovascular call coverage for physician PTO, CME, and call support
Schedule: 24-hour call blocks; averages about 4 days per month
Call: 24-hour call
Volume: About 6–10 consults/calls per shift, varying with acuity
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital

• ED neurosurgical consults
• Trauma call
• Acute stroke interventions
• No APP support
• Documentation in eClinicalWorks
• Travel covered: flight, lodging, and rental car

Requirements
• Dual training in Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular Surgery required (neurointerventional radiologists not considered)
• Active South Carolina license required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Credentialing: approximately 90 days (committee, MEC, and board approval)
