Good afternoon,

This is Sergio Cayetano with Aya Locums. I’m reaching out to share a new Neurosurgery locum opportunity in Virginia offering long-term block coverage with a predictable call schedule and manageable case volume.

📍 Assignment Overview
📅 Coverage Period: June 1 – December 31, 2026
🗓 Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
⏱ Coverage Type: 24-hour call coverage (block scheduling available)

🏥 Practice Details
• Setting: Hospital-based neurosurgery coverage
• Daily caseload: ~2 cases per day
• Weekend average callbacks: ~2
• Weekend admissions: ~2–3
• Weeknight callbacks: ~5 calls per day
• Weeknight admissions: ~2–3 per week

🧠 Procedures / Skills Needed
Required:
• General spine cases
• Minor cranial procedures

Preferred:
• Additional general spine procedures

🩺 Requirements
• Board Certified / Board Eligible Neurosurgeon
• Active Virginia license required

💰 Compensation & Coverage
