Neurosurgery Locum Opportunity in Virginia | Ongoing 24-Hour Call Coverage

Opportunity Highlights:
• Consistent 24-hour call coverage with structured weekly schedule
• Opportunity to support and help build a new neurosurgery program
• Full office support staff in place

Opportunity Details:
• Location: Virginia
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• Assignment Length: Through December 31, 2026
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (Monday 7a – Monday 7a blocks)

Work Details:
• Daily Caseload: ~2 cases per day
• Weekend Callbacks: ~2 per weekend
• Weekend Admissions: 2–3
• Weeknight Callbacks: ~5 calls per day
• Weeknight Admissions: 2–3 per week
• Procedures: General spine cases and minor cranial work
• EMR: EPIC (preferred)
• Environment: Building a new program with strong administrative support

Requirements:
• Board Certified Neurosurgeon
• Active Virginia license required
• DEA with Virginia address required (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be comfortable with general spine and minor cranial procedures
• Clean background with full disclosure of malpractice and work history

Credentialing will follow standard hospital processes.
