Aya Locums is seeking a Neurosurgeon for urgent inpatient coverage in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Assignment Details

• Contract: October 19, 2026–January 4, 2027
• Coverage: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Schedule: Weekly coverage available from October 19 through January 4
• Setting: Inpatient hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• Daily Caseload: 5–7 patients
• Support: Two flexible MDs and one PA
• Procedures: General neurosurgery, spine, and cranial cases
• Call Volume: Approximately 5–8 weeknight callbacks daily and 2 weekend callbacks
• Admissions: Approximately 3–4 per weeknight and 1–2 on weekends

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Active Virginia license required
• Virginia DEA or DEA with a Virginia address required
