Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Needed in Palm Springs, California
Target Start Date: (as soon as credentialed ~ 30 days)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (ongoing potential)
Schedule: 24-hour on-call coverage; beeper call (response time required)
Call Details: Call-only coverage
Job Details:

Neurosurgery trauma call coverage at an acute-care hospital
APP support for neurosurgical emergencies and inpatient consults
Assist with spine and cranial procedures including laminectomy, spinal fusion, ACDF, and brain tumor cases
Work alongside neurosurgeons with established APP support on service
EMR-supported workflow in a high-acuity acute care environment

Requirements:

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neurosurgery experience preferred
Active California license required (no licensing assistance)
BLS required
Board eligible
Clean malpractice history required (no paid claims)
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 30 days
