Job description
Start Date: May 13
Location: Riverside & Anaheim, CA (must be able to float between sites)
Specialty: Neurology – No procedures required
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient care:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Administrative time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
No weekends
Position Highlights
100% outpatient
No interventional procedures
Functional / restorative medicine model
EMR: Proprietary system (SAM) – training provided
Patient Population
Primarily traumatic brain injury (TBI) & PTSD
Heavy first responder population
Workers’ compensation-focused
Referrals primarily from occupational medicine groups
Clinical Model
Functional restorative medicine approach
Focus on reducing/detoxing patients from current medications
Minimal new medication prescribing
Complex care environment
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology
Required: Experience with workers’ compensation patients
Ideal candidates comfortable in a functional/restorative care model
Additional Details
Coverage needed in both Riverside and Anaheim or provider willing to float
Preference for local candidates
Open to locum-to-perm or direct permanent placement
Travel/lodging for non-local candidates must be approved in advance
