Neuro-Oncology Opportunity Located In Greenville, NC

Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Neuro-Oncologist. The successful candidate will join an established multidisciplinary team that includes specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology.

Opportunity Highlights:

· Growing 9-hosptial physician-led private not for profit health system with locations across eastern North Carolina

· Established neuro-oncology program

· Growing clinical neuroscience team inclusive of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology.

· In addition to its clinical and academic expertise, the facility offers an array of comprehensive brain tumor interventions, supported by state-of-the-art technology like GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, Cyberknife radiosurgery as well as innovative clinical trials that improve brain tumor knowledge, treatments and outcomes

· Opportunity to participate in a 9-hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record and planned COC Network status

· Ability to participate in the teaching and mentorship of hematology oncology fellows and neurology residents
