This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the Anderson community with comprehensive neurological services. The hospital-based practice features a Level II trauma designation with on-site lab and X-ray capabilities, supported by a team of 5 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers using Epic EMR documentation system.

Opportunity:
Physician - Neurology

Job Details:
• Provide hospital-based neurological services with 100% inpatient coverage
• Average of 20 hospital-based patients per day with no clinic or office patients
• Coverage dates: August 3-9 and October 5-11 with ongoing opportunities available
• Call responsibility only when on-site
• Required procedures include lumbar puncture and thrombolytic therapy
• Work independently as the only neurologist during assignment
• Utilize Epic EMR documentation system
• Support Level II trauma designation facility
• Must maintain Board Certification (Board Eligible acceptable) in Neurology
• Active South Carolina medical license required
• Current DEA registration and BLS certification mandatory
• Clean background check required with no exceptions
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 2 months
• Travel expenses covered including flight, hotel, mileage, and rental car

Compensation:
