Location: Kingsport, Tennessee
Specialty: Neurohospitalist
Assignment Type: Urgent locum tenens backfill
Coverage: Ongoing, including 24-hour call and hourly shifts
EMR: Epic — prior Epic experience required; facility will not provide training
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days

Opportunity Details:
An established Tennessee health system is seeking a neurohospitalist for urgent locum tenens coverage. The provider must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and covering multiple locations.

Coverage Requirements:
24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Onsite daytime coverage with nighttime call
Additional hourly shifts may be available
Call coverage required
EEG interpretation required at all locations, including routine and continuous EEGs

Location Schedules:
HVMC: 24-hour coverage, 8:00 AM–8:00 AM; onsite during the day with overnight call and return to the hospital if needed
JCMC: 24-hour coverage, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM; onsite during the day with overnight call
BRMC: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Requirements:
Board Certified in Neurohospitalist or Neurology
Active Tennessee medical license or IMLC LOQ
Tennessee DEA required
Minimum two years of experience
Comfortable with fast-paced, high-volume practice
Proficient with Epic
Experienced in reading routine and continuous EEGs
IMLC: Accepted
