Locum Tenens Neurologist – Washington State

Start Date: July 2026
Duration: 10 Weeks

A Washington healthcare facility is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist (MD/DO) for a locum tenens assignment beginning in July. This opportunity is covering a leave of absence and offers a combination of clinic, inpatient, and call responsibilities.

Position Details
Inpatient and outpatient neurology coverage
Hospital privileges required
Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Call coverage required in conjunction with clinic schedule
Coverage need is approximately 1 week per month
Preferred availability includes 3–5 days of 24-hour call coverage during assigned week
Unrestricted beeper call
Call/text volume averages 0–4 contacts per 24-hour period
In-house consults completed while onsite
Practice Information
Hospital beds: 122
Average patient volume: 16 patients per day
Adult patients (17+)
Rounding and admissions required
Working alongside 1.5 FTE Neurologists and 1.0 NP
EMR: Epic
Requirements
Active Washington medical license at time of presentation (IMLC not accepted)
Board Certified Neurologist
MD or DO
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Recent clinical activity within the last 24 months
Minimum 100 case logs required
EEG and EMG experience required
Travel
Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided (travel subject to caps).
