Neurologist Locums Opportunity – Washington | 1 Week/Month Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for a locum tenens assignment in Washington State. This is a part-time opportunity providing coverage for a physician leave, with a blend of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and call responsibilities.

Assignment Details:
Start Date: July 2026 or asap
Assignment Length: 10 weeks

Schedule: 1 week per month preferred
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM clinic
24-hour beeper call during coverage week
Preference for 3–5 days of call coverage per week
Call Volume: Typically 0–4 calls/texts per 24-hour period

Practice Setting:
Adult patient population (17+)
EMR: Epic

Collaborative team environment with:
1.5 FTE Neurologists, 1 Nurse Practitioner

Clinical Responsibilities:
Outpatient clinic visits
Inpatient consults and rounding
Admissions as needed
Call coverage managed primarily by phone, with in-house consults when onsite

Requirements:
Active Washington license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 100 neurology cases within the last 24 months

Additional Information:
Travel, lodging, and car covered
Expedited credentialing preferred due to urgent coverage need
