California Neuroradiology Locums - Flexible Day Coverage

Job description

Aya Locums is working with a California hospital seeking a Radiologist for an ongoing Neuroradiology locum assignment.

The client is flexible regarding the physician’s exact subspecialty background and will consider experienced Diagnostic Radiologists who are comfortable with the clinical scope. The work includes General / Body Radiology with basic Neuro and MSK interpretation, along with GI fluoroscopy studies such as upper GI, esophagram, small bowel follow-through and barium enema.

This is an onsite daytime assignment with flexible scheduling based on physician availability. Call is optional, and physicians interested in additional call coverage can discuss available options.

PICC line placement and hysterosalpingograms are helpful but not required. Arthrograms, joint aspirations or injections, CT cystograms, lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsy, ultrasound biopsy, and ESI / SI / facet injections are not required for this assignment.

Support staff is available. The department uses NovaRad and MModal.

An active California license is required. Due to the client’s non-poaching requirement, physicians must reside approximately 60 miles or more from the facility.

I am interested in speaking with Radiologists who may have significant availability as well as those who want to discuss whether a particular schedule or coverage structure could make locums worthwhile.
