Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 12 hour, night shifts, 7 days per week. Mostly covering days
Work Details:
· Support staff: Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology supporting all patients. Pulm CC and CV Surgery provide support as needed.
· EMR: Cerner
· Skills required: Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line. Writing daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharging. Ordering medications, testing, procedures when indicated. Mostly step down and cardiology unit patients. Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated including: arterial line placement, central line placement, cardioversion. Perform new consults with attending MD.
