LOCUM – NURSE PRACTITIONER – CARDIOLOGY

✓ Location: Mechanicsville, VA
✓ Start Date: 9/8/2026 – Weekly, Monday–Friday
✓ Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
✓ Setting: 100% Inpatient/Hospital-Based
✓ Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
✓ Patients Per Day: 10–15+ depending on volume
✓ Call: Yes – Beeper/Phone Call
✓ Call Ratio: 1:3–1:4
✓ Average Call Back: Approximately 2 hours
✓ EMR: EPIC

RESPONSIBILITIES

✓ Work independently alongside an Interventional Cardiologist
✓ Manage new inpatient cardiology patients
✓ Conduct follow-up visits and rounding
✓ Complete clinical documentation
✓ Assist with discharge planning
✓ Coordinate patient care

REQUIREMENTS

✓ Board Certified – Advanced Practice NP
✓ Active Virginia NP License – Required
✓ Active ACLS & BLS – Required
✓ Active DEA – Required
✓ 2+ years of experience or similar experience
✓ Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
✓ No fellowship required
✓ New graduates not specified as accepted
