CARDIOLOGY PHYSICIAN – LOCUM TENENS

Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 6 months
FTE: 0.25
Setting: Outpatient Clinic

SCHEDULE
✓ 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
✓ Monday–Friday
✓ No call
✓ No rounding or admissions
✓ Provider will work independently

PATIENT POPULATION
✓ Adult and geriatric patients
✓ Approximately 14–16 patients per day
✓ No required procedures

REQUIREMENTS
✓ MD/DO – Cardiology
✓ BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross)
✓ EPIC – proficient user
✓ Documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of the requested privileges within the past 24 months
✓ Case-log requirement waived for providers who completed training within the previous year
✓ AK license and/or IMLC strongly preferred
✓ Open to providers willing to obtain an AK license

SUPPORT
✓ No other cardiologists currently on the island
✓ Support available from Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Hospitalist teams

• No calls
• No weekend requirements
