Radiology Physician Assistant Needed – Maryland
Start: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6–12 months with option to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–3p
Government contract
Any state license accepted initially; MD license required prior to start (licensing assistance available)
Important:
Provider must complete a Federal Security Clearance before starting
Clearance process is initiated directly by the client and timely responses to all emails are required to avoid delays/cancellation
Client is looking for a firm commitment to the process
Responsibilities:
Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and interventional radiology support
Prepare/educate patients and review medical histories
Monitor patients during procedures
Assist with preliminary imaging review and documentation
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Requirements:
NCCPA certified PA
Prior radiology experience preferred
Strong radiology/imaging knowledge
EMR experience required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
ACLS preferred
Credentialing: ASAP pending federal clearance process
