Location: Tallahassee, FL

Job Details

Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care, including comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services

Collaborate with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, childbirth educators, and other specialists

Provide expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery with in-house coverage

Triage and manage emergent obstetric patients in collaboration with RNs and OB/GYNs

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and high acuity/low frequency event training

EMR: Meditech

Modern full-service hospital

Level II NICU

24/7 anesthesia coverage

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred in intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage

Licensure: Current RN & APRN license in Florida (Florida-licensed providers only at this time)

Certification: Active certification with AMCB

Other Certifications:

BLS (required)

NRP (preferred, not required)

Advanced Fetal Monitoring, Obstetric Ultrasound, and/or Lactation certification (preferred)

Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care values
