We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to provide locum services in an outpatient women’s health setting in Tallahassee, FL.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNM with full-scope midwifery experience looking for full-time coverage starting January 5, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call required

Contract Length: ongoing (potential to extend)
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Responsibilities:

Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care, including comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, and childbirth educators
Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients in coordination with RNs and OB/GYNs
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and skills training for high-acuity events
Document care in Meditech EMR


✅ Requirements:

Active Florida RN and APRN license
Certification with AMCB
BLS certification by start date (NRP preferred)
Minimum 2 years experience in intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or Lactation consultation preferred


📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~30–45 days
Completion of facility-specific forms and verifications required
Interview with department leadership
