Locum Certified Nurse Midwife (hourly + call) - NC license

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to provide locum services in a hospital-based women’s health setting in Laurinburg, NC.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNM with full-scope midwifery experience looking for coverage starting January 19, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:
Specialty: Midwifery – Full Scope
Setting: Hospital-owned clinics + Labor & Delivery
Schedule:

Combination of clinic and on-site call coverage
Call: 24-hour L&D shift (with MD backup)
Clinic:
• Tuesday (half day post-call)
• Wednesday & Thursday (full days)
• Friday (half day)
No weekend call required
Contract Length: 6 months
Start Date: January 19, 2026

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive prenatal and gynecologic care in clinic settings
Manage labor and delivery patients during 24-hour call shifts
Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff
Document care in Epic EMR
✅ Requirements:

Active North Carolina CNM license
AMCB Board Certification (CNM)
BLS certification
DEA registration
Minimum 1 year experience; seasoned CNM (no new grads)
Comfortable in rural OB/GYN setting with busy office and L&D floor
Epic EMR experience required
📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~30–45 days
Temporary privileges likely required
