Midwife Needed in Allen, TX
Start Date: August 2026
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
Practice Details:
• Independently provide full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, childbirth educators, and additional specialists
• Provide leadership and clinical coverage support on Labor & Delivery
• Athena EMR
• Average patient volume: 16–19 patients/day with staggered scheduling
• Dedicated MA support
• Team includes 2 OB/GYN physicians, 1–2 WHNPs, and 2 CNMs
Requirements:
• Active TX RN and APRN license required
• Active AMCB certification required
• NRP and BLS certifications required by start date
• 2+ years of intrapartum and postpartum experience preferred
• Strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must value shared decision-making and holistic patient care
Preferred:
• Certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation Consultation
Credentialing timeframe: ASAP
