Advanced Women’s Care is a physician-owned, multispecialty women’s health group serving communities across the Phoenix Valley. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside MFM specialists providing high-risk obstetric care in a collaborative, team-based environment.

About the Role

The APP will support the care of high-risk obstetric patients, working in both outpatient and hospital settings depending on practice needs. This role focuses on managing complex pregnancies, coordinating care, and supporting patients throughout their maternal journey.

You will work closely with MFM physicians, OB/GYN providers, and clinical staff to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed patient assessments for high-risk obstetric patients
Assist in the management of complex pregnancies (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, multiple gestation)
Collaborate with MFM physicians to develop and implement care plans
Provide patient education and counseling on high-risk conditions and treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
Coordinate care with OB/GYN providers, hospital teams, and specialists
Interpret diagnostic testing and imaging (training provided as needed)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
What We’re Looking For

Required:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
National certification (FNP, WHNP, or NCCPA for PAs)
Active or eligible Arizona licensure
DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Current BLS certification

Preferred:

Experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or high-risk obstetrics
Prior MFM or perinatal experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
