Women's Health NP Locums Opportunity – Irvine, CA

Job description

Opportunity Details

Location: Irvine, CA (Local candidates preferred)

Start Date:
• As soon as credentialed

Assignment Length:
• Through August/September with potential extension

Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break

Practice Details:
• Outpatient clinic only
• EPIC experience required
• Average 18–21 patients per day
• Patient population ranges from adolescents (13+) through geriatrics
• Approximately 15-minute follow-up visits and 30-minute new patient/procedure appointments

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Confirmation of pregnancy with bedside ultrasound
• Initial OB visits
• Routine OB visits
• Postpartum care
• Incision checks
• Well-woman exams
• IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal
• I&D of cysts
• Problem visits including UTI, STI, menopause, HRT, and breast pain
• LEEP procedures
• Colposcopy
• Endometrial biopsies
• Cryotherapy
• Cervical polyp management

Requirements:
• Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
• Active, unrestricted California license
• DEA Required
• BLS or ACLS Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• EPIC experience required

Credentialing:
• Estimated 45–60 days
