Locum OB Hospitalist – Job Summary
ASAP start | Ongoing assignment
12- or 24-hour in-house shifts available; 24-hour shifts run 7 AM–7 AM
Manage a predominantly high-risk OB population with 24/7 MFM support
Approximately 11–12 deliveries per day
Responsibilities include labor & delivery coverage, urgent OB care, C-sections, and obstetrical procedures
Trauma I or II experience required
Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN and BLS required
MN license preferred; IMLC required if no MN license
Epic/Excellian and Obix fetal monitoring systems
No GYN duties for OB Hospitalist shifts
No resident supervision
Emergency temporary privileges may be available for clean files only
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90–120 days
Providers must specify the shifts they are available to work.
